Colin Delmonte - Director, Drums, Piano & Caller
Colin is a multi-instrumentalist now living with his young family on the Black Isle where he works as an instrumental instructor for HighLife Highland. Originally from Tain, Colin embraced the excellent musical tuition offered in the Highlands and began his musical journey learning whistle, piano and accordion. He is a music graduate with a BA Hons degree in Applied Music from Strathclyde University with bassoon as his principal study. Colin has performed with various traditional music groups and ceilidh bands across the world as both a musician and dance caller.
Mhairi Mackinnon - Fiddle & Caller
Born and raised in Perthshire, now settled in Nairn, Mhairi Mackinnon is one of Scotland's most vibrant fiddle players within the traditional and folk music scene. Mhairi Studied her craft at the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music, based in Plockton, before continuing her endeavours at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. In 2014, she graduated with an honours degree and was awarded The Keepers of the Quiach Scholarship. Since her studies, she has travelled all over the world for many noticeable performances, collaborating with artists such as; The Scott Wood Band, Phil Cunningham, Finlay MacDonald, Ross Ainslie & Ali Hutton, Nicola Benedetti and Sir Rod Stewart CBE. In 2020 , Mhairi was selected as a finalist for the BBC Radio Scotland's Young Traditional Musician of the Year Award which has been a particular highlight of her career to date. As well as being a touring musician within the Traditional & Folk music fields, Mhairi is a highly commended instrumental instructor within the Highland region working both privately and as part of the Highlife Highland Instrumental Tuition Service
Ruairidh Gollan - Accordion & Fiddle
Ruairidh is a talented fiddle player and accordionist from Easter Ross. A versatile and engaging performer, he plays at ceilidhs, weddings and events across Scotland, specialising in traditional Scottish music. Alongside performing, Ruairidh is a dedicated educator, working regularly with Fèis Rois and other Fèisean throughout the Highlands, inspiring the next generation of traditional musicians. He also performs frequently with Calum McIlroy, winner of the BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2024, with recent appearances including The Gathering Festival in Inverness.
Ruairidh Campbell - Piano
Ruairidh is a talented pianist from the Black Isle. He developed his musical skills at the Plockton School of Traditional Music, where he studied under renowned tutor Andy Thorburn. A familiar face on the ceilidh scene, he brings many years of performance experience, combining strong musicality with a natural ability to connect with dancers and audiences alike. As well as playing the piano, he is also an accomplished guitarist and has performed in a wide range of line-ups on both instruments. After spending time living in Canada, Ruairidh has returned home with his young family.
